Breakfast Under the Oaks

Come join the Greater Franklin Food Council for Breakfast Under the Oaks, a community celebration of local food, local music, and the joys of gathering together. This farm-to-table pancake breakfast will feature locally-sourced ingredients such as Maine maple syrup, wild Maine blueberries, bacon from Franklin County farms, and Maine-grown grains. Breakfast will be served in the Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park from 8 am-10 pm. All proceeds will go to the Greater Franklin Food Council.
The Greater Franklin Food Council is a grassroots organization based in Farmington, Maine, with a mission to help foster a robust food system in Western Maine. They work to promote local farmers, ensure access to local food, support a widespread school garden program, and create community education initiatives throughout Franklin County. Their initiatives are funded entirely by grants, donations, and community fundraisers.
Morning Yoga

Join Ellie in a morning flow class designed to explore new depths of strength and flexibility while embracing the power of playfulness. Let your cares go as you dive headfirst into a yoga class that redefines the meaning of mindfulness. This is an all-levels class created with the intent of blurring the lines between beginner and expert, finding a place where there are no students or teachers - only human beings moving together.
Ellie Condoleo has been practicing yoga and studying yogic philosophy for seven years. She was certified to teach in April 2023 in Bali, Indonesia, and can currently be found teaching privates and small groups out of her home in North Anson, Maine. Ellie believes that mindfulness and seriousness do not have to go hand-in-hand and incorporates this philosophy into her teaching styles, creating unique and quirky classes

Herbal Tea Tasting

Join Stephanie of Rooted Body Botanicals for a guided herbal tea tasting experience that awakens the senses. Sip and savor a curated selection of hand-harvested, locally grown herbs from the heart of western Maine. Taste each herbal tea individually, learn about their medicinal properties, and experiment with different combinations guided by your unique taste preferences.
