“Under the Oaks” F.A.Q
Does filling out the Host Questionaire mean I’m obligated to host a show?
Not at all! The host questionnaire just lets us know you are interested and gives us a good way to contact you. Once we get your questionnaire responses we can send you some date options, you can check with your friends, and we can see if we can make the show work.
Does it cost me money to be an “Under the Oaks” host?
Nope! We have a few different options for how we are paid for our performance. For more information check out our “What to expect as a host” section.
Do I have the right space to Host a show?
Great question! To be a host all you need is an outside area that you can comfortably fit at least 30-50 in. Flat areas work best so your guest can see the show. You will need to be able to provide a power source for our sound equipment but you don’t need a stage, a lawn works fine. Feel free to send us pictures of your space and we can let you know if it will work for one of our “Under the Oaks” Concerts.
Can I host my show inside?
As of right now, we are only booking outdoor spaces for these shows, if things change we will let you know!
I live really far away from Maine, can I still host a show?
Yes, we are booking “Under the Oaks” shows all over so reach out and we will see if we can make your location work.
If I fill out the Host Questionnaire does that mean I'm guaranteed to be a host?
It does not. We will read over your questionnaire and reach out to have a conversation with you. After we talk through what a show at your place might look like then we will decide if you are the right fit. We will then send you a few date options for your show.
What if it rains?
We will discuss a rain plan with you prior to the show. If it's looking like a big downpour will ruin the night then we will find a date to reschedule your “Under the Oak” show.
Do I have to invite strangers to my show?
Of course not. If you feel you can gather 30-50 people you know to attend the show then you're all set!
How much will Under the Oak’s tickets cost my guest?
We will discuss with you what you think is the best price to set, but our range will be $30-$40 per ticket.
Will I make any money from hosting an “Under the Oak’s concert?
No, all the money from your guest ticket sales will go directly to the band. If you're looking to make money from this experience then an “Under the Oaks” concert isn’t for you.
Will I get to meet the band?
By the end of the night, we will all be best friends!
Will there be “Under the Oaks” merch?
We are working on it, so hopefully!
