🏕 Camping

What time does the campground open on Friday? 

The Campground opens at 12:00 PM on Friday, Aug 28th! 

Where is the campground located?

The camping entrance GPS address is:107 Pleasant St, Farmington, ME. Look for signs and a dirt road that will guide you down to the camping area.

Is Camping Sold Separately? 

Yes, camping tickets and festival passes are sold separately! Camping passes can be added during checkout or purchased separately later (if still available).

Can I park next to my tent?

Yes! You can park your car right next to your tent! We allow 1 car per tent site, but there is additional parking for extra cars right next to the campsite.

How do the tent rentals work?  

When you arrive, your tent rentals will be all set up for you. There will be a camping coordinator on staff to direct you to your tent when you arrive. If you are arriving after 10:00 PM, your tent rental will have your name listed on the side. You will need to bring sleeping stuff (Sleeping Bags, Pads/mattresses/cots, etc)

Can I camp with friends?

Of course! Under the Oaks is all about community. 2-person tent rentals can sleep up to 2 people. 4-person tent rentals sleep up to 4. “Bring your own tenters” can fit as many people as the tent capacity allows.

Are there bathrooms/showers?

We have porta-potties, drinking water, and handwashing stations in the camping area. There are no showers on-site. But the river is just a step away!

Are there quiet hours?

Yes! Campground quiet hours are 12 PM - 8 AM

Can I arrive late?

Yes! Gates to the camping area are open at all times. We will have a campground coordinator on-site until 10 PM. If you arrive after 10 PM, you can set up your own tent in the camping area, or you can find the tent rental with your name on it!

I’m bringing my RV. Are there hook-ups on site?

There are no water/electric hookups on-site. But we do have drinking water and porta-potties right in the camping area.

Is the festival “All Ages” and Are Kids Free?

YES! AND YES! Kids 17 and under are free. AND this year we’re excited to welcome an awesome kids band - Bee Parks and the Hornets

What if it rains?

The show will go on rain or shine!

Can I get a refund? 

No, sorry, all ticket sales are final.

What’s the VIP show?

The VIP show takes place on Friday night at Under the Oaks and features a special GoldenOak set along with a few other artists! This is a very intimate part of the festival and often a favorite of attendees.

When will the schedule be released?

We will release the full schedule as soon as possible. You can see what bands are playing on which days HERE.

What time do gates open for the festival each day?

Friday’s gates to the VIP show open at 5:00 PM. Saturday’s Gates to the GA area open at 2:00 PM. The Camping area is accessible throughout the weekend!

🎶 Workshops

What are the workshops?

Workshops at Under the Oaks are an integral part of the festival experience, designed to ground festival-goers in place and build community throughout the weekend. In past years, workshops have run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and have included offerings like Morning Yoga, Mushroom Foraging, Fly Fishing Casting, and more. All workshops are free with the purchase of a General Admission or VIP festival pass, with this year’s workshops to be announced later in the year.

Do my tickets get me into workshops?

Yes! Both VIP tickets and GA tickets get you full access to every workshop. Saturday morning’s “Pancake breakfast” does have an additional cost.

🍔 Food & What’s Allowed

Will there be food vendors?

Yes, there will be lots of food available to purchase throughout the weekend. We will list all the food options and hours over on our food page as the festival gets closer.

Will alcohol be available for purchase?

Yes! We will have beer and wine available for purchase on site!

Can I bring outside food and drinks?

Outside food and drink are only allowed in the camping area. Unfortunately, no outside food or drinks are allowed in the GA seating area. Empty, reusable water bottles are allowed and encouraged! There will be filling stations throughout the festival grounds. 

Are dogs allowed?

Can I bring a chair or blanket?

Yes! Chairs and blankets are more than welcome!

What’s the Address of the Festival?

The General festival address is 123 Narrow Gauge Square, Farmington, ME. Exact locations on the festival grounds can be found by using the festival map!

Is there cell service at the festival/campground?

There is cell service throughout the festival grounds!

Is the festival accessible?

Yes! Both the VIP stage and the Main stage are wheelchair accessible. The camping area is also wheelchair accessible, though please note that it is an open grassy field

Where do I park if I’m not camping?

You can find free, designated parking areas on the festival map!
